Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882-1945). Governor of New York (1995-2001) & 32nd President of the U.S. (1933-1945). In April of 1945 FDR made what turned out to be his 'last journey' to Warm Springs, GA where he planned to rest. While he was there he was sitting for a portrait by the artist Elizabeth Shoumatoff but FDR died of a massive stroke while he was being painted and thus--- 'The Unfinished Portrait'.

This offering is a 10 in. x 12 in. Limited First Edition Print published in 1945 by Gimble Brothers, Inc., N.Y.that would be suitable for framing with a signature of FDR.So, we are offering a 5 in. x 3.25 in. State of New York Executive Mansion Albany card with a bold fountain pen ink signature as Franklin D.Roosevelt, n.d. but 1930 is written in the upper corner on the verso.Both the card and the print are in good-excellent codition and show normal aging and toning. There is a minor bump to the left lower corner of the print.

This is one of the most unusual FDR items we have ever offered.
