approximately 4 in. x 5-1/8 in. The panel undoubtedly was once
wrapped around a personal family letter as it is addressed [in
another hand] to the mother of John Quincy Adams's wife ``Mrs.
Catherine Johnson / Washington.'' Lightly age-toned. Affixed
to an octavo album page, otherwise in very good condition. $OLD
