- General Charles de Gaulle (1890-1970).
French General and President. Organized
and led the Free French Forces in World War II, President of
France (1958-1969). A very desirable and increasingly Scarce
Signature, written tersely in blue ink across his portrait
on a 4.5 in. by 2.75 in. photo postcard, no pace or date, but
circa 1940s. Boldly signed: "C. de Gaulle".
