First edition, First Printing of FOR WHOM THE BELLS TOLL

Ernest Hemingway (1889-1961 ). One of the greatest American writers of all time and one of if not his best works. Now harder and harder to find in this state and condition. Hemingway was an American novelist, short-story writer, and journalist. His distinctive writing style is characterized by economy and understatement and had a significant influence on the development of twentieth century fiction writing.
