This historic photograph was taken in 1981 when the four presidents gathered at The White House prior to Presidents Nixon, Ford and Carter departing to Egypt to represent the United States at Anwar Sadat’s funeral. This is the most popular of the signed images that appeared following the historic event at The White House—the first time four presidents had ever met there.
