Circa 1940's Collection of
great figures from U.S.Military of WWII. This collection consiusts of 15 different vintages
signatures on plain cards or on First Day covers. The names represented
are as follows : Douglas MacArthur, Omar N. Bradley, Dwight
D. Eisenhower, W.F. 'Bull' Halsey, Admiral Chester Nimitz, 'Hap'
Arnold, Mark Clark, William D. Leahy, Admital King, Admiral Raymond
Spruance, U.S. Marine General Vandergriff, Lucius
Clay and Mark Clark, Paul Tebbits. Johnathan Wainright is
a signature on a letter.This collection could serve as a cornerstone
of any World War II collection and represents some of the greatest
names of that era including the only three individuals who held
the rank of Theater Commander-MacArthur, Nimitz and
Eisenhower.
