The photograph is sepia toned and was made from the negative that was removed from Berchtesgaden when it was overrun at the war's end by The 3rd Infantry Division that also raised The American Flag over the buildings.The dimensions of all the photographs are 11.5 in. x 14 in. As far as we know, none of these photographs have ever been published and we are not aware of any other copies in private hands.

The signature is written on Der Furher letterhead paper and is in excellent condition.This signature is suitable for framing with the photograph.
