The Vantage Point by Lyndon Baines Johnson.This book is LBJ's reflections on the presidency(1963-69). What makes the book special is the long holographic inscription and signature by Johnson. Handwritten material by LBJ is extremely scarce and this is clearly an authentic piece.It was given to the Command Pilot of the Presidential helicopter squadron. According to the LBJ Library there are only two known holographic letters by LBJ known. One was to his mother and one was to his grandmother. So this inscription and signature is a treasure. First Edition. 6 1/4 X 9 1/4. The boards are red cloth, front has a blue box with gold letters, spine has blue box with black letters. The author inscribed and signed a book plate and is on the half title page. It is a First Editon book. Internally the book is bright, tight and clean. The dust jacket has not been price clipped and is protected with brodart plastic jacket cover. This book contains Appendices Letters, Documents, Maps and illustrated with 72 pages of photographs.
