Herman Melville. Partly-printed Document Signed, one page
oblong, small folio, Port of Boston, May 12, 1818. Signed by
HAS Dearborn as Collector and Thomas Melville as Naval Officer
for a shipment of cotton from Calcutta bound for New York. Accompanied
with an original invoice. Partial separation on center fold repaired,
otherwise, strong dark bold signature of the famed patriot.
