Thelma Catherine Patricia (Pat) Ryan Nixon ( 1912 – 1993). Pat Nixon was the wife of Richard Nixon and the First Lady of the United States from 1969 to 1974. Before she met The President she worked at various jobs and eventually became a school teacher in Whittier, CA where she met her husband. Mrs.Nixon served with distinction as First lady through difficult tmes for her whole family and the nation.She was know as a real 'lady' in the finest sense of the word and she was beloved by her husband the president. Her death probably perciptated his demise.

This offering is a lovely 8 in x 10 in B&W portrait of a young Pat Nixon that is in excellent condition. It is signed and inscribed, To George Ingram with best wishes Patricia Nixon, n.p, circa early 1950's.
