This is a copy
of the open letter President Reagan wrote in November of 1994
in which he informed the American public that he had Alzheimer's
Disease. To mark this occasion he signed and dated a few copies,
this being one of those, of the hand written letter that were
sold to benefit the Alzheimer's Society. A very few were given
to close associates. The source for this letter is impeccable.One
line in this letter will live in history and typifys Reagan's
optimism, his faith in America and his Christian beliefs and
it is a follows, "I now begin the journey that will
lead me into the sunset of my life. I know that for America there
will always be a bright dawn ahead. Thank you, my friends. May
God always bless you.Sincerely, Ronald Reagan" The
letter is in pristine condition and it is signed and dated near
the upper margin of the first page-- Ronald Reagan, 11/5/94.
