(1858-1919). 26th President
of the United States (1901-1909). One of the great figures
in American History. Among his many accomplishments he was
the first American and thus also the first President to win the
Nobel Prize, he was the first President to leave the country,
to appear in the newspaper,and the only president to be awarded
The Medal of Honor (posthumously) The Roosevelts and the MacArthurs
are the only father-son winners of the MOH in our history. TR
was noted for his aggressive foreign policy and will long be
remembered for his "Speak softly and carry a big stick."
As an side, TR had two iterations
of these cards. One was had just White House printed on
it while the iteration offered here had The White House
printed on it.
This offering is a flawless The
White House Card signed boldly with fountain pen as Theodore
Roosevelt. The card is archivally framed with an engraving
of President Roosevelt. A magnificient piece for display. The
overall dimensions of the framing are 11 in x 18 in.
