Dr. A.S.W. Rosenbach(b.1883-d.1959). THis book, A Book Hunter's Holiday is the seminal work of of a great American book and manuscript authority. Dr. Rosenbach was an anitiquarian book dealer in Philadelphia and he helped to assemble major collections for some of our major institutions such as the Huntington Library and the The Folger Shakespeare Library.In his day he wasa known as the abob of rare books and First Editions.He was known as "rosy" in part because he had the typical appearance of one who loved demon rum and he often showed up at major auctions under the influence, at least according to Charles Hamilton.This book is very much sought after by book collectors and has become very RARE.
