Umpire collection. This collection consists of approximately 65 different signed photos, letters and miscellaneous ephemera related to major league umpires.. The person who assembled this incredible collection posed the question to each umpire--"What was your most memorable gamne??" Some of these umpires answered this question in great detail.

The names represented in this collection consist of the who's who of major league empiring of the last 50 years. These men were witness to the Maris 61st home run, many World Series and playoff games, the George Brett pine tar bat incident and so on.

This collection was put together by a man who knew many of these individuals, probably because he was a Florida resident so he probably made their acquintence during the Spring Training seasons over many years.Many of the umpires represented even includes a post humous reply by one of the friends of an unpire who had died. The friend sent a signature clipped from a check since the umpire was no longer.
