Autograph Note Signed, one page, octavo, on personal letterhead, September 29, 1972, Princeton, New Jersey. The note reads in part: "I am sorry. I have no photograph of myself, but I am glad to send you my greetings instead. Sincerely yours EP Wigner". Dr. Wigner was the Thomas D. Jones Professor of Mathematical Physics at Princeton University (1938-1971). He worked on the Manhattan Project at the University of Chicago during World War II, from 1942 to 1945, and in 1946-1947 became Director of Research and Development at Clinton Laboratories.
